Ready to come to Christ the King? Here's what you need to know.
Parking: We have a large parking lot with many of the spaces rented out. Please only park in the unnumbered spots. If the parking lot is full, there is street parking available along Carsbrooke road.
Accessibility: From parking to entering the sanctuary, Christ the King is fully accessible. We have a ramp at the front (North) entrance, and an elevator at the office (South) entrance.
Greeters: We know that visiting a new church can be intimidating. That why we have greeters with a friendly face to welcome you when you arrive.
Dress: We're super casual - some people dress up; some people dress down. We are comfortably heated in the winter (with lots of space to hang up your coats), and have fans for the summer.
Children: We love having children at the service - there are some books and toys in the Narthex by the front entrance to keep them occupied during the service. They are also free to roam around in the sanctuary.
Communion: Most Sundays are communion services where we serve both bread and wine. If you’re a follower of Jesus, you can receive the bread and wine and if you’re not yet or you just prefer it, you can receive a blessing by crossing your arms over your chest. You can also remain in your seat if you’d rather not go forward. If you have mobility issues, communion can be brought to you, just let us know by raising your hand or telling us in advance.
Anointing: On the last Sunday of the month we offer anointing prayer for anyone in need of healing, strength, or spiritual support.
Meeting with the Priest or Deacon: Rev. Jeff and Rev. Virginia would love to meet with you and answer any questions you may have.
